How do I get my web site on search engines?
I just started a online business and need advice on the best way to get ranked in search engines, or any ideas on how to market a web business. Thank you

I have found this network marketting web site.
In the past your site would have been quickly picked up by the crawlers on the search engines. However, the controllers of these search engines now want to make money to list you. It is important that you gather all the information you can.. The following are some things that may help..
1) link your site to other sites who would benefit from the link exchange and are not your direct competitors. I sell picture frames so I exchange links to artist sights….who don’t sell frames.
2 Be sure your HTML meta tags are on each page and has good wording to grab anyone doing a search (and I’m not sure this helps anymore)
3) and then Wait,
4) advertise your site on everything you do.
One search engine, I won’t tell you a name will charge you $300 and investigate if they like your site and then may not even list you and they don’t return the money. In 6 months you can apply again and paid another $300 with the same non-guarantee..
