I need some genuine insight and details on how you got STARTED to making that first or 0 on the Internet. What are some real genuine and HONEST ways of making money on the Internet?
Please, don’t be vague like create blogs or websites with unique interesting content and earn money through affiliate marketing or contextual advertising (Adsense, Adbrite, YPN, etc). I really want details on how YOU got STARTED to become successful making money on the Internet.
Please do not recommend me filling out surveys or PTC (Paid-to-Click) sites. You can hardly make any decent money out of FREE surveys which takes a good amount of time just to make a lousy dollar. Believe me. I have tried with several "top notch" sites like CashCrate and others. I do not want to go this route.
I want to make a decent living off of the Internet working full time even putting in 10 additional hours every week.
Where can I do keyword research and search volume research to come up with niche ideas for websites? Overture Keyword Tool no longer exists. I need a good free keyword tool besides Google’s Adwords keyword tool. I heard Google’s keyword tool really doesn’t give accurate results. What did you do to come up with your niche ideas?
I assume most Internet entrepreneurs make money through multiple streams of Internet incomes through affiliate marketing, contextual advertising, multiple websites (sometimes in mass quantity) domaining (buying & selling domain names), Forex investing. List other ideas as well.

I plan to make a site for Android development. I plan to upload on there podcast audio files (which I intend to stream and allow for download). I also might use site to host any Android apps built by me (betas, for people to test before uploading to Google Market).

The last four years I have been making income through online affiliate advertising on small websites, blogs, and Google Adwords using widgets and other advertising tools. When a potential customer clicks on that widget they then are redirected to the businesses website in which im promoting. When that individual converts to a customer and purchases off that website, I receive a small percentage of the companies profit. I do this for hundreds of companies to increase my potential income. I use Google Adworks in which I bid on keywords involving my affiliates products and services and they show up according to what an individual searches on Google. Every time that person clicks on my advertisement and goes to the website, I get charged per click, but my rating on my ad goes up and will now be shown more. When the person clicks the ad they are directed to my affiliates web page and are more likely to become a customer, bringing business to my affiliate and potentially earning me more money. A lot of my affiliates are small business that i get off of a website called Clickbank.com. Others I went out and found. If you look at most websites on the bottom where it says "contact us" and "careers" you’ll also see "affiliate program". Its a great source of income if you enjoy working from home.

How can I start Internet Marketing?
So I’m really interested in the whole "make money at home" idea. I did some research and have some basic understanding of what Internet marketing is and how the whole process works. But that’s just the thing – I only have general idea’s. Like I know my first task is to find a profitable niche and find a product that caters to that niche using keyword research tools like Google’s, but I don’t know HOW.
But more importantly, I’m also a realist and a skeptic when it comes to new things and this whole Internet Marketing business just seems like a whole scheme to me. I feel like the whole business is made so newcomers like myself will either fail or only have tiny success and we will always be subscribed/providing money to these so-called "guru’s" every time they come out with new content. Tell me it isn’t so because I’d sure LIKE to make ,000′s every week, if that’s even anywhere near a realistic goal.

my web site addresses a market of app. 10K clicks per month (according to the statistics of Google Adwords analytical tool).
I reached the 3rd place in Google for all relevant keywords but the monthly traffics I get is app. 600.
Am I missing something? Can the difference between 1st and 3rd place be that high?
