Website for affiliate marketing?
I am trying to start an affiliate marketing site, but can’t figure out where to find a good place to make a website. I don’t know much about websites, HTML and all that. I was hoping to find a good website template that worked well for an affiliate marketing site (side bar with links to other pages on my site, space to show products, nothing fancy – want something professional and simple.
I have a domain name and signed up with a web hosting site, then signed up with SiteBuilder and WordPress to see their templates. However, I am having issues finding a good template and starting the website.
Any help/suggestions would be great!

spider web marketing system question?
i just signed up for the spider web marketing system and i put my domain name in the field on the screen. but when i put it in my browser it doesn’t show up. it doesn’t look like the site is activated yet or something. is this something i should be worried about? i’m asking because i’ve gone and set up the other stuff that the system has said to open up but i don’t have a domain essentially to promote. should i just wait? it says wait about 15 minutes to 48 hours. has this happen to anyone else?

Web Site – Concept to Reality – Need like minded people?
I am looking to launch a website whose design is currently at a very primarily stage. For the site to be succesful, I am looking for like-minded people who can work along with me to make it happen.
The site’s aim is to compete with big shopping giants but in a completely revolutionary concept and I am confident that it will be a success.
a. Which are the sites or community websites that will help me find people who can help me in this drive ( web-gurus, marketing, VCs)
b. To build the initial proto-type I need to find a low-cost webhosting option. I already have a domain name registered but struggling to choose between linux and or windows. For the initial prototype all I want is
A. User Registration Screen ( Very basic – Name, email )
B. Allow them to refer friends
C. Allow them to create weblogs or reply to posts ( community )
D. Allow them to provide feedback
E. Allow me to see the simple statistics ( user hits, number registered, referred )

Starting a website for affiliate advertisement?
I have a domain name and now am looking to either build a affiliate site or purchase a template. I will have some content, Blogs etc. Giving people reasons to revisit. The templates and website building programs seem very basic and don’t allow much room in the way of advertisement. My question is – has anyone built a site for the sole purpose of generating money from affiliate advertisement and where is the best place to find a template or the correct program to build this type of site? I don’t have any HTML experience. Thanks!

I own a website, and I’d like to explore a concept in directing visitors interested in claiming a domain name to a registrar that would then share commissions for the referral. Key things I’d be looking for — a high conversion rate, generous percentage scale, and not withholding withdrawals until they reach some ridiculous threshold like 0.
