Whats the best way to make money from my website?

Hi there,

I have just set up a new website, but i would like to try to make extra money through it. I know about google adsense. I have also heard about some of these affiliate networks. Can anybody tell me which ones are the best to use? also are there any other ways i can make extra cash through my site?
